Post Cure - Remove line bottleneck
Goal: Reduce post-cure cycle times to maximize throughput and equipment utilization.
What I Did: Designed and executed comprehensive test plans, applying expertise in carbon fiber processes, resin chemistries, and non-destructive testing. Coordinated closely with production, design, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.
Result: Achieved reduced cycle times and increased efficiency, leading to a more streamlined and cost-effective production process.
Manual moulding —> Injection Moulding (New recipe)
Goal: Industrialize the manufacturing process to improve part quality and increase throughput.
What I Did: Developed new material recipes by optimizing material composition and refining process parameters. Introduced injection moulding as a faster, more reliable alternative to existing methods.
Result: Enabled scalable production with tighter quality control, improved process efficiency, and increased overall throughput.
Very exciting results from the very first positive trial!
